Rumor: LaRoche could land in Anaheim

ph_425560.jpgAccording to several baseball sources, first baseman Adam LaRoche could see himself being dealt to the LA Angels of Anaheim if the club can't lock in a deal for Mark Teixiera. Without Teix, the Halos are terribly weak at first, with Kendry Morales currently penciled in to start. The Angels are also after a power bat nonetheless, and may take a chance with 'second-half' Adam.

LaRoche hit .270/.341/.500 in AVG/OBP/SLG, while the All-Star switch-hitter in Teixiera hit .308/.410/.552. Clearly, Teix is the better player, but when he puts a complete season together, LaRoche can be dangerous from the left side.
